Arrowhead Regional Medical Center-Emergency Medicine PA Fellowship

Program Description:

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is a 465-bed, state-of-the-art teaching hospital located in Colton, California. Owned by San Bernardino County, it serves a large, urban indigent population and sees over 140,000 emergency department (ED) visits annually. Designated a trauma center in 1985, Arrowhead is now a Level I Trauma Center and also houses a dedicated burn center. The ED operates independently within the hospital and functions as a paramedic base station within a well-developed emergency medical services (EMS) system. It features 50 beds organized by patient acuity, including a Rapid Medical Evaluation® (RME) and Treatment Area for walk-in patients with urgent needs. Higher-acuity cases are triaged to one of five specialized pods. Fellows in the Vituity EMPA fellowship program at Arrowhead receive comprehensive training in trauma and the resuscitation of critically ill and injured patients.

Kaweah Delta Healthcare District EMAP Fellowship

Program Description: The Emergency Medicine Advanced Provider (EMAP) Fellowship at Kaweah Delta Healthcare District (KDHCD) is a 14-month intensive post-graduate training program for certified PAs and NPs in the specialty of Emergency Medicine. It offers APs interested in advanced EM education and training the chance to learn in a structured and organized didactic and clinical environment. This education will occur under the direct supervision of Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians and highly experienced Advanced Providers.
