UCSF Fresno PA Emergency Medicine Residency

 

Inception Date: 2015

Curriculum: Weekly didactic conference, small group sessions, simulation lab, journal club, M&M, online education, 4-5 hours/week

Clinical Rotations:

  • Emergency medicine - 10 months
  • Pediatric emergency medicine - 1 month
  • Trauma - 1 month
  • Critical care - 1.5 months
  • Burns - 2 weeks
  • Toxicology - 2 weeks
  • Ultrasound - 2 weeks
  • Anesthesia - 2 weeks
  • EMS - 1 week
  • Orientation - 1 week
  • CME conference - 1 week
  • Dermatology, ophthalmology, orthopedic, oral maxillofacial surgery - 1 month

Program Length: 18 months

Class Size: 2 per year

Stipend: $90,000 total length of residency
