Mayo Clinic PA and NP Emergency Medicine Fellowship
Inception Date: 9/1/2014
Curriculum: Weekly EM conference, monthly journal club, SIM, ultrasound and Grand Rounds. Additional specialty lectures workshops: RSI/PSA, OB, difficult airway cadaver course, palliative care. Monthly reading assignments along with monthly exams. Work plus lecture 40-60 hours per week
Clinical Rotations:
- Emergency Medicine 9-11 month ICU - 1 month
- Anesthesia - 1 month trauma - 1 month
- Orthopedics - 1 month
- ENT - 2 weeks
- Ophthalmology - 2 weeks
- Quality research - 2-4 weeks
- Radiology - 2 weeks
- Emergency Ultrasound 2-4 weeks
- Elective 2-4 weeks: ICU, Anesthesia, etc.
Program Length: 18 months
Class Size: Accept up to 5 fellows every 6 months

Credential: Certificate - NPPA EM Fellowship Mayo Clinic
Stipend: $60,000/12 months; $90,000/18 months - length of the program
Benefits: Medical, dental, 15 days of vacation, pension, 7.5 days CME plus $3,450.00 for conferences
CME: ACLS, CALS, BLS, ATLS, NRP, PALS
