Sara Champoux, DHSc, PA-C
Sara Champoux has worked in several emergency departments in Scottsdale Arizona for the past 19 years, including a Level 1 trauma center, a free-standing emergency department and a pediatric ED. She had been a site Lead APP for 6 years prior to moving into a Regional APP Director role with Envision Healthcare. She was then promoted to become Envision’s National Vice President of Clinician Value, and just 5 months ago she transitioned to a new role as the National Vice President of APP Services for emergency medicine and hospital medicine across Envision. She has a Doctorate of Health Sciences and recently renewed her CAQ in EM. Sara served on the SEMPA board as Director at Large for 4 years, before taking over the Secretary Treasurer role. Sara is the chair of the SEMPA Advocacy Committee and runs the SEMPA mentorship program. Over the past 2 years she worked on the Legislative committee of the Arizona State Association of PAs to help pass improved collaborative practice legislation. Her hobbies include scrapbooking, hiking and running. A few of you may know that she hopes to complete a half marathon all 50 and has now checked 37 states off her list, with Kansas up next!
