Take your emergency medicine skills to the next level with hands-on training on life-saving emergency medicine procedures at the SEMPA Procedures Course.
During this day-and-a-half course, you will engage in procedural education through hands-on training with high-fidelity trainers. There will also be a procedural anatomy demonstration by instructors on human cadavers. Participants will have access to the demonstration cadavers.

LOCATION
The University of Florida Center for Simulation Education and Safety Research is located within a large facility spanning approximately 24,000 square feet and is divided into three areas in the Pavilion building on the UF Health Jacksonville campus. The Main Simulation and Conference/Instruction Area is a 7,000 square-foot area that was once a working hospital emergency department. The area is supported by an additional 800 square-foot conference and instructional area.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American College of Emergency Physicians and Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants. The American College of Emergency Physicians is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The American College of Emergency Physicians designates this live activity for a maximum of 12 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.™
Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations submitted in writing - via mail or email - and received on or before Thursday, December 21, 2023, will receive a refund of fees paid less a $50 cancellation fee. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. No refunds will be made for cancellation requests on or after Friday, December 22, 2023. However, if there is a waitlist and we are able to fill your slot, we will refund you less the $50 cancellation fee.
