Tenell Zahodnik currently serves as President-Elect of the Board of Directors. She has previously served SEMPA as a Director at Large starting in 2021. Tenell first became involved with the organization when she joined the Education Committee in 2017, a committee she still serves on today. Tenell is based in Abilene, Texas, and serves as the Lead APC in the Emergency Department at Hendrick Medical Center. She additionally stepped into the Director of Clinical Education role at the Hardin-Simmons PA program in May 2023. She recently completed her Doctor of Medical Science from the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Her chosen track is Healthcare Professions Education. In her downtime, she loves to travel and is an avid reader.
