Program Description: Albany Medical Center is one of the busiest trauma centers in New York State. There are approximately 76,000 visits to Albany Med's emergency room each year. As a New York State designated Level 1 Trauma Center, our emergency physicians and nurses work around the clock to provide the most advanced emergency care found in Northeastern New York.

Program Description: New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center is a tertiary care center approved for Trauma, Cardiac, Burn, and Stroke care and treats over 80,000 emergency department patients annually. The Department of Emergency Medicine includes specialties such as Toxicology, Geriatrics, Simulation training, Emergency Ultrasound and Wilderness Medicine. Our faculty physicians and residents conduct clinical research, sit on several national committees, publish numerous articles and chapters, present at national conferences and lecture at Weill Cornell Medical College.

Progressive Emergency Physicians Physician Assistant Fellowship

Program Description: 18-month program offering didactic and clinical learning opportunities across multiple sites ranging from 30,000 to 90,000 visits. Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center (GSHMC) is the primary teaching site. GSHMC is an academic medical center, ACS verified Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and has a dedicated Pediatric ED. Other clinical sites provide the opportunity to train in a variety of emergency medicine environments.

Program Description: Two year, postgraduate specialty training program for Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners aims to expand and refine the skills needed for advanced practice providers (APPs) to thrive in both the Emergency Department as well as the Urgent Care setting.

SIUH EM PA Fellowship

Program Description: Founded in 1861, SIUH today is a member of the Northwell Health system and enjoys numerous academic and clinical affiliations and accreditations. SIUH has two 911-receiving emergency departments staffed by healthcare workers specifically trained in emergency care. The north site is a designated Adult and Pediatric Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Center Designation, Cardiac Catheterization Center and Regional Burn Center. The south site offers the feel of a "suburban" ED.
