Hennepin Emergency Medicine Postgraduate PA Program

Program Description: The Emergency Medicine Postgraduate PA Program is an intensive 13-month program that will provide didactic and clinical training in emergency medicine to prepare the graduate to start a career with the skills they need to be a competent emergency medicine physician assistant. Trainees will practice alongside established PAs and emergency medicine residents at Hennepin in our Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center under the supervision of our outstanding emergency medicine faculty as well as gain additional experience pertinent to emergency medicine through off-service rotations.

Regions Hospital Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant Residency Program

Program Description: Located in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Regions Hospital is a Level I Trauma and Burn Center and the state's first Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. The PA residency is affiliated with the Regions Hospital EM physician residency program and the emergency medicine faculty are affiliated with the University of Minnesota. The emergency department at Regions has 62 treatment rooms with an annual census of approximately 88,000 patients.
